on a dreary
rainy
gray
day
we hopped in the jeep and headed to the
local alpaca farm
for a open house
they had many alpaca's
and one little
cria
(spanish for "baby")
(did you know that douglas?)
they keep all expectant mama's
and the new mama's & cria
in one area
isn't he adorable!
he's 8 months old
they were just recently sheared
which according to
jeremy, our farm guide,
they do not like
one
little
bit!
he said they have to restrain them,
they
scream
yell
&
spit
(glad we missed that part)
meet the girls
they have the sweetest little faces
and according to jeremy
just like people
they each have a unique
personality
all the girls are kept
together
~i love her toothy smile~
and what's a farm without a tractor?
don't ya just
love
his
haircut
he has beautiful blue eyes
which jeremy said
is an indication
that he is deaf
they keep the girls with the girls,
the boys with the boys
the teens with the teens
if
not
you have lots & lots of
cria
