it's been just 2 short months since my sister received

the dreaded diagnosis....it's cancer

a rare cancer...angio sarcoma

only 31 people in the us have been diagnosed 

with this type

she fought hard but lost her battle

on march 11 

she leaves two little loves

jade & jacob

along with

lots of family & friends

her two besties

for those of you who do not (k) knit

(fo)....is knitter talk for finished object

as of late, i have not had many (fo's)

so i'm really happy about this one 

this is from a (kal) knit a long

that michelle hunter of knit purl hunter

called

"winter buzz"

it was a fun pattern to knit 

and the yarn ....simpliworsted

was so nice to knit with

i had taken after a snowstorm
