Halloween has just passed but my thoughts are with Spring. Usually this time of year makes me want to hibernate. Seeing all the beautiful tulips, daffodils and hyacinths in the Spring make me wish I hadn't been so lazy in the Fall. This year my plan was to be ahead of the game. Early in the summer, the hub and I prepared a flower bed for bulb planting in the Fall. All I had to do was purchase the bulbs and wait on a nice fall day to pop them in the ground. That day came and I DID pop those bulbs into the ground! Here's to hibernation!

Kudos to you! I always wish I would have planted more bulbs when spring arrives...but I just never can muster the desire to dig in the icy soil this time of year...not when warm apple pies in the kitchen are calling:) You'll be so glad you did though-- here's to having good things to look forward to:)-- warmly, kate
Good work! I keep promising myself every fall that I will put in loads of bulbs. I only did it one year and those have been removed to make way for new beds. Ah well, there is always next year.
