it was a day of celebration

a surprise of the best kind

a group of women that have been

a part of each others lives

from a few years to fifty two years

we all came together

to celebrate my daughters

30th birthday

we shared a lunch of
chicken salad
egg salad
veggie & dip
cheese & crackers
fresh fruit with creme fraiche
yummy homemade cookies
of course
a sparkly pink cake

we dined on antique pink dishes
linen tableclothes & napkins
(which my son ironed for me!)
with a touch of silver & crystal

we sipped tea from pretty teacups
& enjoyed ice tea from crystal goblets

a very special thank you to the girls
for making the day so special

It was so much fun and so pretty! You surely know how to have a party! Thanks for including me in helping plan and decorate =) I love your new page set up by the way! Super cute and perfect for this cold December!

How pretty, Katie... I just love all of the Depression Glass, sigh** I don't have much pink, mostly yellows and ambers.

What a wonderful gift to be able to celebrate with such a lovely group of friends, memories and love.

Happy day to you and your daughter:)
