it began with breakfast at one of our favorite spots
they serve the BEST breakfast!
full and happy we were off to the Audobon Society
for some bird watching (and turtles too)
Columbus folks are lucky in that
the city
provides so many parks & nature centers
for people to enjoy
next....to the quaint area of short north
for shopping
short north offers a great selection
of antique & vintage shops
you can find just about anything
the arches let you know you've arrived in short north
there are rows and rows of arches!
a day at short north is not complete without a stop at
~concrete jungle~
in the middle of the city is a wonderful little
patch of color and greenery
we then loaded into petey
(yes her little red car has a name)
and headed to dublin for lunch
we decided on The Dublin VillageTavern for
a few reasons...
we like the food, the outdoor seating & the service
I'm missing in this picture because I was next door
doing some shopping at the local yarn shop
it was a most fun day in the city
a trip that we take over and over and over
*~*
