Pawley's Island.....home to the Gray Man

pawley's island is a regular stop

while visiting south carolina

legend has it

prior to a storm

many have seen the ghost

known as

"gray man"

it is said

he is warning of an upcoming storm

we have never seen him

and for this

we are

thankful

we did encounter a quick storm

we waited it out in the jeep

ate peanut butter & jelly sandwiches

read the local paper

and

waited.....

the rain passed

we headed back to the beach

and enjoyed the rest of the day

all in all

it was another beautiful day
