We live out in the middle of nowhere~ We have 100 acre woods beside us and 95 acres behind us, neither which belong to us. We're situatuated in the middle of 7 acres. We've seen a lot of wild life, bucks, does, wild turkey (hens & jakes), snakes, racoons quail and we hear coyotes (we hear them, but we never see them). Only one time before have we seen Tom Turkeys. Today however, they reappeared! There were two of them but I could only get a picture of one.
This isn't a great picture, but a picture all the same. We have lived here 5 years and I still get excited when I see something unusual or unexpected!

You really are getting the snow, wow!
When you mentioned 100 acre wood, made me think of Winnie the Pooh:)
Living in the city, we don't see a lot of wildlife, we do get lots of birds and we used to have a family of raccoon that lived in a giant hedge in our yard. Seeing turkeys would really be something!
