babs gifted me with this wonderful label maker

the little containers are from addy's organic baby food

which have now been recyled & reused

we belong to a wine case club

all that really means

is....

when we buy a case of wine,

we get a stamp on our card

after we purchase 10 cases

we get 6 bottles free

now mind you...

we've been members for

a

very

long

time

and we've yet to get our 10 stamps

although

we've had a lot of help

from

our daughter in law, her co-workers & her friends

we do "wine runs" for them as the winery doesn't sell

in the area where they live

this spring the winery hosted a "case club party"

we enjoyed lunch, entertainment & a wine tasting


the winery at versailles

we were each given a wine glass

and a ticket to try their new wines

there were lines...

very

long

lines

but it was worth the wait

as members, we are also

 given a 20% discount

&

of course a stamp on our card

only two cases to go!

excuse of scrapbooking

truth be told.....

gives the appearance

pita"better than potato chips" tutorial

        *~*preheat oven to 400*~*

 

*~*ingredients*~*

1 package whole wheat pita pockets

1/2 cup olive oil

1/2 teaspoon dried basil

1 clove garlic~minced

kosher salt

fresh ground pepper

parmesan cheese

*~*directions*~*

cut each pita pocket in to eight sections and split apart

lay the sections on a cookie sheet

(you'll need two sheets)

mix the basil and garlic with the olive oil

brush each section with the olive oil mixture

sprinkle with kosher salt and pepper

bake for 7-9 minutes

or until slightly golden

sprinkle with parmesan cheese

allow to cool

serve with guacomole or bean dip and enjoy!
