but this project has been a long time coming!
not that it was a difficult project or pattern
but....
(here come the excuses)
we had a horribly hot summer
and i just was not in the mood to knit
however

Those socks are awesome! We didn't have a very hot summer this year, but I always dream of wool sock weather and snuggling up with a good book by the fire.
I have never finished a knitting project, so I am in awe of your finished project.
I love those socks. When I think of knitted socks I picture those big old thick ones, yours are delicate and pretty.
Yeah! Your socks looks wonderful. I really like the color.
